Cultivation of the ‘felt sense’, or the awareness of one’s inner world, is an essential aspect of self care with immediate and tangible benefits for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

This awareness is the foundation of reclaiming your inherent wisdom, intuition, and power.

My approach to yoga is that of a somatic meditation in which I guide you to reconnect to yourself through greater awareness of your physical body and sensations. It is a process of embodiment that is learning to actually be in and feel your body in the present moment, thereby giving you access to all the ways your body is communicating with you.

This yoga is a way of giving yourself permission to be, as you are, and a space where all of you is welcome..

It is a practice in forging a new relationship with your body
and yourself based on respect, appreciation, and compassion

What kind of yoga do you teach?

For over 20 years I have been practicing and studying various branches of yoga and many of the main styles of Hatha yoga as well as studies in Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga). The yoga I offer today is an alchemy of all that I have studied in the field of yoga but also in the fields of meditation, breathwork, western depth psychology, essence work, women’s studies, shamanism, and ceremonial work.

I teach from what I have directly experienced and my breath and my own body have been my biggest teachers. I support my students to give priority to their own personal experience more than theoretical teachings or anything else and learn to connect deeply to their own inner source of guidance and intuition.
